1. Illustrated music video.
The double award winning show presenters 'Punjabi Hit Squad' on BBC 1Xtra & BBC Asian network recently asked if I would do some illustrations for them, however I was unable to so at the time, but I have contacted them asking if they would still like me to do some work for them for my final major project. This may be an illustrated music video (they produce their own music). I am currently waiting for them to get back to me.
2. Momiji Dolls.
Design a set of dolls for Momiji. I don't want it to be an exact copy of last years work. However it is something that I am very interested in, was thinking that it could be pushed a lot further now that Momiji are doing other products.
- Water colour changing Momiji dolls.
Look into getting prototypes made of water colour changing Momiji dolls, and get them made.

MOMIJI PROJECT:
Would be interesting if you continued the British theme with these (i.e. have them out in the pouring rain/by the seaside etc. to react with the water)
>> Are there any other toy companies you could go through to create your designs without it having to be Momiji?
Thinking that this could be a way to avoid the overall Japanese aesthetic (the girls yesterday said they are open to all sorts of design ideas but I'm guessing this means anything provided it looks fairly Japanese-y cute!).

Sorry...but I did emphasise yesterday that it is probably NOT a good idea to work with Momuji as a major client! If THEY select one student, as a result of work we are doing now the that's a different matter.
Music video- I'm unsure...is video your media, it would have to stand up against a high professional standard and all other video students graduating across the country.
These projects do not appear to raelate to a career focus?

Hi Farhana,
I like your idea of the music video, and in remembering your pop-up book/fairytale-like project from last year, i reckon you could pull it off beautifully.
On some level, im not sure if its substantial enough though. Only in that considering the time involved, the outcome might not necessarily translate the amount of effort you put in (as Geoff mentioned about moving image work in one of the sessions). But then again, it depends on how you go about it.
Anyway, hope that helps. Would love to see the idea go through.
Good luck!
