1. Revamp the working space in a home or office to benefit both the creative adult and their child. It could be a space that is constructed to look like a gingerbread house that children would love to be around and be visually intrigued while the creative parent has a more fun and stimulating environment to work in. OR Create a household object that can be used by both parents and children. An object that parents can release their frustration on and kids can play with. A bitter-sweet combination that looks like a toy but can also be a piece of furniture in a home.

2. Create an indoor movie theatre complete with a classic convertible and fake surrounding outdoor environment and with a real refreshments stand. The props could be transportable like blow up trees or cactus. The entire set could be staged in a specific indoor spot in London where people would have to book a time to reserve the seats in the car to watch classic movies.

3. Based around my dissertation idea of Youth Subcultures in Beirut - create a documentary film exposing the true lifestyle of a people that live by a specific mantra. Not Political!

Hey Tala,

I personally like your idea about youth culture in the middle-east. I find the idea of documenting youth culture interesting on two levels:

Youth culture has both differences and similarities around the world. Yet i feel that there are many instances of non-western youth culture that would be interesting when compared to those in the west.
Particularly the issue of kids with money, and the extravagance it can lead to (Kinda like MTV's sweet 16)

On another note, the very nature of youths and cliques makes it difficult to document a realistic outlook (atleast in terms of the taboo and more dodgy side of things). I imagine that if you were to pull the idea off in getting the 'inside scoop' on matters, the outcome could be quite compelling and thought-provoking (given that you have a more considered approach in what youre trying to say).

Having said all that, i dont think the idea is necessarily that interesting to everyone, and although a social topic, i can see how it might 'potentially' carry a small political undertone (atleast at some small level and to some people).

Anyway, just my thoughts. Hope it helps!

Good luck!
