I haven't had a chance to reword the ideas below as I'm off to letterpress but here's my new ideas...
Theme: Lucky Charms, Objects with meaning...
Following on from my superstitions idea I want to look at objects that have hidden stories and hold memories for many; from my four year old cousin who carries around a hair clip because she thinks it's magical, to the old lady who carries a rock (essentially a big flat pebble) given to her by her late husband. I intend to create visuals around this topic in a book documenting the value of these objects.

Another Idea...
My reciepts idea from last year was completed in one week and never really got finished or pushed to it's full potential though I enjoyed the positive response the idea received. My reason for wanting to continue with it is that I may have a publisher who's willing to produce a limited edition set on them... but maybe this isn't enough for an FMP?
I will update more at the end of the day...

I like the thing you said on your blog about superstitions and objects... combine this with idea one perhaps?
I loved your receipt project, you could carry it on, if you think you could really push it further... but maybe start fresh, with the 1st idea! Im sure it would be absolutely stunning at the end!

Hi Lisa,
I definitely like your first idea with documenting meaningful objects. With your photography and delicate style, i reckon you could nail the topic in a really convincing and beautiful way.
However, having said that, i find the concept itself more interesting than the way you described going about it...
In a sense that i wouldnt necessarily care about why just any object was particularly special to just anyone.
I reckon that who/whom the object belongs to could play a huge role in making the idea more spicy and interesting.
Dunno if that helps. But i think its promising and would love to see it go through.
