Amalia A-More on VICE

I have again been speaking to the digital editor of vice over the phone and suggested a couple of things to extend the project to something BIGGER. I suggested that i have contacts with 2 top skateboard photographers that work freelance for transworld, cliche and many more... I suggested that they could do a shoot with my installation and VICE could use it for their cover. Also, we could have a 4-page feature of photographs from the shoot and interviews with some of the skateboarders maybe ask them some questions about what their view on VICE magazine is- which is a great tool to promote the magazine further into its target market. Another thing we talked about was the fact that Vice doesn't have a fixed Graphics team and their covers and work are always chosen by word of mouth in the office. I suggested that it could be interesting to put together a book of "VICE artists" of the 21st century and compile works from artists or writers and make a limited edition book that would be sold in bookstores, recordstores, urban outfitters etc.
