Tala Barbir

From the modest veiled Muslim girl who embraces immodest fashion trends, to the indebted working man who spends an entire month's wages on a night out on the town, to the free-willed Christian rockers rebelling against society through their music, to the plastic surgery addicted eroticized woman, these characters of Beirut's youth have been formed by living through an environment that forces them to define and redefine themselves and their place in society. These almost laughable stereotypes are so different from one another, yet one thing connects them: the mantra: 'live every day like it's your last' has become the unspoken golden rule amongst 'Beirutis.' Therefore, does each group of stereotypes really have their own personality? I plan to give them structure and shape in order to be able to define what daily routines and activities they undergo that makes them abide by this famous motto.

I like the idea of all these different stereotypes being connected all by the same motto, really interesting subject, but I need to know more about what it would look like, how you would do it, present it etc.
