Fashion illustration is the main field I want to get into so in order to get my work out there I don't just want to produce standard illustrations. I'm also really interested in toys (collectable toys, designer toys) so I want to introduce a collection of couture designer dolls. Although this has been done, the majority of the couture fashion dolls are done in barbie dolls, I want to hopefully produce a doll that are like the dolls of James Jarvis, make it really contemporary and fresh. Not sure How I will go about it but I really want to do something involving fashion illustration.

fashion illustration is a really specific genre, people do whole degrees in it. how do the dolls and the illustrations mix and how will you project be more than momigii/kid robot etc etc, gown up dolls are everywhere at the moment

I completeley understand what your saying however there are many successful fashion illustrators who did not start off with a degree within fashion illustration. Fashion illustrators such as David Downton, Julie Verhoven, and Jasper Goodall all started off studying graphic design. In terms of how I will incorporate my illustration within the dolls, it would be packaging and the actual design and concept of the dolls. This is not a solid idea, its just something I am really interested in but thanks for your opinion!
