Kinga Kopycinska

Proposal no.1:
I have been thinking a lot about Eco friendy products which are the latest trend,a movement, a green campaign. Lately, few eco shops have been opened that offer contemporary, artisan-made, Fairtrade and eco goods. I started researching into fashion, and even fashion has been influenced by Eco friendly message. I got to think what happens with the cloths if they are no longer being used or fashionable? Is it possible to recycle fabrics or cloths? I found brand called “koru-foru”(the Maori word for a new beginning) who remake the old clothing using recycle materials; they produce functional and affordable clothing available to all. They are just starting and still don’t have their recognisable image. That’s their website www.koru-foru.com
My idea is to design their store branding, starting from the logo, labels, posters, business cards, leaflets, website, magazine advertising, promotion materials. I’ve contacted them with my proposal, but still waiting for their response.
I’ve also thought of store branding for a brand producing ‘eco jewellery’, using natural material like wood, shelves and stones.

Proposal no.2:
I got in touch with a design company called Fraction www.fraction.co.uk which mostly does website designs, but I’ve talk to one of the designers and they offered me a collaborative work on a book/manual for their client ‘Instructor Doctors’ www.instructordoctors.co.uk. It’s a company that specialises in driving instructor training and what they want is to redesign a training manual, which would involve creation of illustrations, teaching diagrams, layout, cover design, designing additional information leaflets. It would be eventually published for sell.
