FMP Proposal
The Graphic Design Games Machine
I intend to design and build the first fully working graphic designers arcade games machine. Designed specifically for use by designers, the new style of arcade machine will bridge the gap between current game design theory and contemporary graphic design, allowing for an interactive experience at the show (and hopefully other locations around London - if I can get it on tour) that designers play and become immersed in.
I love the idea of designers of many disciplines interacting with the games machine designed specifically for them. It should be interesting, testing, look good and hopefully challenging (possibly even encouraging competition between designers).
Just imagine being at the show checking out the high scores board coming up on the machine..
1st Saville 25000 points
2nd Stevens 24349 points
3rd Hardstaff 19987 points
4th Etc 15000 points
5th Etc 13000 points
It could be arcade style like this, or something more abstract. I'm exited about it.

What will be even more awesome is if one of us beat saville or stevens!
This is going to be great, just make sure you get it perfectly spot on. It has great potential
I love the scoreboard idea!!!
Can't wait to see it.
Lisa.
Cool..I like the mentio of Chelsea VIP's- flattery always a good move. At some point soon I presume that you will be able to describe the 'game' - I need to visualise it, either traditional archade or post-modern aesthetic or both?
Intrigued to know which experise you will draw on aka programming

Yeh good stuff Joe, can't wait to see you get stuck in with this. Have you thought of how the game will run? what is the interactive element going to be? is it like a questionnaire? is there a 3-d world? what perspective would it be? fps/2nd/3rd person> will it be as simple as yes/no questions? i wanna know! lol look forward to seeing some first visuals.
