Chelsea provides a very good experience throughout the 3 years of college.
The only area that could be improved is within the student population itself which is mostly defragmented and does not have anything that connects it.
We do not have a collective identity!
My proposal is to make the first publication where the content is entirely student based.
An open window to the culture of Us as Chelsea students are.
Us.
The way it could be done is still not totally defined, but an email account to where students could send their content is one of the options.
The universe of students from all courses, both blocks.
The project would start now, as the time before holyday could be crucial in order to put posters at faculty to create awareness and promote participation over the holydays. After that period an email could be sent to all students at Chelsea through webmail.
Notes that have been through my mind, various possibilities:Complete freedom of speech. This would be the only way to guarantee the veracity needed to best personify our identity within a publication and to provide me with the best material. Of course that insults or unconstructive criticism would be taken out of the equation.
Should it have a general theme!
For the editorial that best captures an identity, I as the editor in chief would try and hook up with people like Frank in order to go over the results.
The selection of the content could also be made by the students. A group of articles would be preselected and then a voting online would take place.
Being viral, a concept that could continue through time on the other years, much like the brighter journal.

Too inward looking I feel. A project which branches outwards towards the industry would be better.
I always thought that we should have our own publication.

i aprreaciate it a lot.
i really want to to something special with this one, the student population in our faculty deserves it.
on the faculty i was before, we had a publication that generated a lot of interest and many of us would wait for it to come out as it would communicate a part of ourselves but above all, our collective spirit.
our collective identity.
the publication is yours and everybodies.
it would be fantastic if i could come up with a concept that would sustain it self through time, allowing the next years students to pick on it and follow what was started.
