Project NICE - creating a 'brand' and virally and physically advertising it in various different ways, testing the publics belief in what they see and testing the strength of advertising today.
The notion of how consumed we are by images, and things we see everyday interests me. I propose to make up a brand under the name of 'nice' because it's such a nothing word that people use all the time. I would design the logo, the brand image and create a simple website, as well as any graphics that I may need. I would then advertise this brand in every way that I can possible, billboards... taxi's... flyers... newspapers and try to get this brand noticed as much as possible

what this brand is gonna sell?clothes?food?products?
i thought i would leave that completely open to the viewer/consumer... it would simply be a brand... and they are left wondering what it is or does...? because if i turned it into a product it may take away from it...
i want to make something out of nothing if that makes sense?

Hi Anjuli,
there's an article in this month's Creative Review about magazines, one of which is called "NICE MAGAZINE" it's an A4 piece of wood. (hard to explain but check it out in CR.) the magazine's goal is encourage people to do nice things... perhaps you could contact them and use it as a platform for your project. here's their website:
