I have been in contact with the following two bars in London who are keen to meet to further discuss proposals for conceptual design/illustration on interiors/installations associated with their contemporary chain of bars, complimenting branding and strengthening the identity of the bars.
1) THIRST bar www.thirstbar.co.uk
Thirst bar is a modern cocktail bar made up of 3 locations based in Soho and Oxford. Their target audience is young professionals and students. They make really good cocktails.yum. The manager is keen and has asked to see some proposed work and discuss from there.
2) PURE CALIFORNIA www.purecalifornia.co.uk
Pure California is a chain of modern health bars/restaurants that specialise in smoothies. They have 5 locations across london from Soho to The City and are a fresh contemporary chain associated with the new trend for health foods and healthier living. Apparently Elizabeth Hurley eats their porridge!haha. The manager has arranged a meeting with me on Monday.

Will P, Something I've noticed over the last projects is that when you've got an idea that excites you you're good at making things happen... and making them happen quickly (Illustrated book) ! So, I think the bigger this project is the better it will be for you as it will give you the opportunity to do something new and push boundaries.
However, It all depends on the clients and as I have found out you don't want to be selling your abilities short by doing something that's not as exciting but that they are looking for. Hope the meeting with the clients go well... think BIG! :)

you have to make sure you can really do something big! and not just doodles on the walls, and the client isn't too reserved/strict on what you can actually do. Also by doing the whole chain, this project could be made big enough for a FMP. this could be really fun! Polly x
